Job Title: Medical Marketing Specialist (Entry-level)
Reports To: Corporate Account Manager
Department: Medical Marketing Specialist
Summary:
Implement and administer marketing and recruiting plan of action put together by the Corporate Account Managers for a wide range of marketing and recruiting projects.
Duties:
- Use knowledgeable, project and industry specific terminology to call upon doctors, nurses, attorneys, and other c level executives nationally to recruit and/or market specified continuing education program, seminar, study, etc.
- Assist in audience generation for continuing education events or symposiums.
- Be liaison for companies offering professionals awareness through continuing education programs offered by our sister companies.
- Ability to study and learn all details relevant to each project in order to maximize results through a conversational approach.
- Become educated through staff development on various companies, CE subject matters, and accreditation and program specifics before contacting potential attendees.
- Receive calls from various professionals and/or companies regarding specifics of continuing education events.
- Report findings in database form
Required Qualifications:
- 1-2 years recruiting, marketing or sales experience preferred
- Capacity to become knowledgeable of each project including learning medical terminology and details on specific studies
- Ability to multi-task
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and Access
- Articulate speaker - must be able to learn, understand and comfortably articulate medical or legal terminology
- Detail oriented and well organized
- Ability to work in a small team environment
- Analytical – Synthesizes complex or diverse information
- Strong verbal skills
- Communicates effectively
- Able to meet deadlines
- Energetic
